Capital punishment thought
#1
There's really a brouhaha about the punishment to me meted out to the Boston bombing scumbag. Does he deserve death or life behind bars.

[#ff0000]WHAT ABOUT JUSTICE FOR THE VICTIMS AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AS A WHOLE?[/#ff0000]
[#000000]If he is sentenced to death and the sentence executed in a timely manner it's over. If he's sentenced to life without the possibility of parole, I wonder, will a big injustice be perpetrated on all Americans victim or not? We will be forced to protect, feed, house, provide medical care for and, ultimately bury. I don't know what it costs taxpayers to provide the aforementioned but it has to be significant and, I wonder, a use of money better spent elsewhere.[/#000000]

All of the endless appeals that are filed on a death penalty case also cost a small fortune.

I absolutely do not have a problem with a death sentence.
