Bear River around Tremonton

Anyone fished the Bear River near Tremonton or Garland lately? I had a little luck a couple years ago catching cats on livers, but this last season I was apparently doing something very wrong. Few bites and tiny fish! Even tried the pricey shrimp with zero luck.

This weekend I'm hoping to take my boys up to the in-laws and take advantage of a small bit of shoreline they own. Any reports or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

when you buy shrimp make sure it is uncooked night and day between then two and i like to put a little peice of worm on the same hook as the shrimp to to help out a little with the second guessing of what bait to use []

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. River has been really high due to the rain and farmers not needing water for irrigation. Hoping to get out this weekend.
