Does anybody have on opinion on where I might have the best luck on the north side of Utah Lake?

I'm taking a half day and taking my 3 yr old fishing tomorrow at Utah Lake. I used to go to AF boat harbor and slay the white bass and cats.

I haven't seen anyone mention AF boat harbor on the board this year yet. I guess I'm just making sure it isn't closed or blown up or something []

Has anybody fished it recently? Any tips? My other option is to head to where the Jordan River starts there in Saratoga. I don't want to go to LB or Provo boat harbor since I'm coming from Tooele and it's already a bit of a drive.

I have been fishing the American Fork marina for cats and its on and off depending on the weather. White bass and carp I found is good for bait in UL for channel kitties. If you do not have either mb chicken livers and hearts or whatever stinky cat goo you can think of.

Thought: I have never been to the Jordan dam site. There are hot springs there that feed into the river and that part of the lake?? At least that's what I see on the map, so maybe around the hot springs would be good, I just never tried....

Pretty sure the white bass are going to be anywhere the lake's color is different from water coming in, and in the inlets themselves of course.

We ended up doing pretty good. 2 channel cats, 3 mud cats, and a very pregnant carp that was a blast to reel in. My boy had a blast. I tried for white bass, but did not get any.
