What's up all! I'm a newly registered member to BFT, however I've been reading a lot of your post for a while, and it very useful information thank you! My question is, where is some good places to fish? I'm thinking about going tomorrow on my day off, I'm limited to the shore for now. I've been to Strawberry, East Canyon, Rockport and Pineview and of course many community ponds! Just looking for some advice!
Thanks!!

Welcome to the site MHF. How far are you willing to drive to go fishing and is there a certain type of fish you are interested in catching? I know the white bass spawn is going on at Utah lake and they are always fun to catch.

Welcome! I don't post much, but I check and read this board 3-4 times a day. I've recently had my best luck on the Weber river just below Coalville.

I'm interested in targeting Bass, Bows, Brook trout and some Kokees! I've been out these last couple months fishing at some of the spots I mentioned earlier! Had several bites but not luck hooking anything! Thanks!

Mantua has had good LMB fishing right now compared to the rest of the state. Pineview's been dead this spring. Rainbows, I like the Jordanelle rainbows, tasty footballs even the little ones. Brookies are in the Weeb and Provo Rivers, but there's a bonus limit of 4 more brook trout in a lot of Uinta lakes. My understanding is that you mostly need a boat for kokes, and they're mostly in Strawberry and Scofield though there's some promising new fisheries coming up for them.
