#1
Got on the water around 10:30 am with little to no wind but it soon showed up..I fished for about 10 min. before my first hookup a brown about 18" then came two rainbows and a cut..
By the time the wind and rain ran me off my biggest brown at 28" cut at 19" and bow at 17" and 10 or 12 all together..
Water temps at 55 air was about 58..
Water level about 30' down from last year at this time..

That's a good day. I've been hitting jordy since February targeting browns biggest was 26" they are a blast.
have been trying something new this year trolling big cranks in the shallows at 4 to 5 mph works pretty good once you get a path figured out that you don't hang. learning curve was a little expensive. still the biggest fish i have caught this year have come from throwing marabous and plastics to shore.

A 28" brown - that is fantastic. I would love to see a photo of that. We see photos of 18" rainbows on this site all the time, but that brown is special. If you get a chance I think we would all like to see that trophy. Thanks

That's awesome. I've been hitting the Rock Cliff area on the toon and getting those little rainbows pretty consistently. A big brown would be even better.

When I am by myself I don't take any pictures..And even when fishing with others I don't take them of trout..
Trout are not my kind of fish that is why I all but never keep them no matter how big or small ..

And I did not have a camera..[crazy][sly][:/]

No the lure I use is only 3" long and a bass lure..
Trout at around 20" to 25" eat mostly minnows around 2" to 4" long (depending on minnows in the lakes) ..

Most trout fisherman think chubs should all be killed out of the lakes.
How wrong they are if they want bigger fish to catch..Yes smaller trout can not do well in waters that have lots an lots of chubs, but once the trout get to a size and starts eating minnows then the chubs are the ones that have it hard and you get bigger fish to catch..
Look at the Berry and all the slot fish and bigger, with out the Utah chub would we have fish this big??

Yes it takes a great food like the Utah chub to make them grow..

That fish did get its picture taken by the DWR and they even showed it on tv at the time..

If you want to cause hate or trouble look some where else..
