Mantua Mulch

Fished Mantua from shore (more about that later) yesterday and caught 2 fish on topwaters. Fished from 5:30 until dark. One about 2 1/2 pounds and one about a pound. The hits were aggressive, especially the 2.5 pounder. Now about the mulch, My wife decided to buy 3 yards of mulch for our yard and guess where she stacked it. Yep, right in front of my boat. It's soaked through with all this rain and I haven't been able to put it in the yard yet. So no boat fishing for me. I've forgotten how jealous you can be of someone fishing from a boat. Considering I'm a Professional Photographer I got a terrible photo of the bigger fish.

I hear ya. Wifey and I bought three bags of mulch and two of potting soil. All were soaked and the potting soil in particular was almost too heavy for me to pick up. Darn things have to weigh 80 pounds - and are unwieldy to boot.
