Where to go

howdy everyone! its been a while since I have posted but am looking to take a group of my buddies out fishing. Im not sure where we are going to go. we are near Ogden and are going to fish from shore. If anyone has any advice on where we can get into some fish from shore I would appreciate the help! thanks everyone!

I can't assure you of catching, but Rattlesnake Cove at Pineview has good free parking, a nice beach, and a trail that winds around the cove to the east. I've caught smallies, perch, and tiger musky in that cove.

Cross the dam and go east a mile. It's just before you get to Port Ramp.

If you're after trout and size isn't a big factor, Hyrum along the dam or east of the boat ramp is doing pretty well for 12" rainbows... J
