Spent a good day out on the water and it seemed like I couldnt do anything wrong. Worked some spoons did some trolling and even a little bait fishing at the end. Caught a few cats on bait, walleye hit the spoons and the wiper were hitting jigs. Overall the action wasn't very fast but the fish are biting and I released 7 fish for catching another day.

That does sounds like a good day, Chris. any certain color seem better than another?

I pretty much stay with light colors at Willard. White seems like it always does pretty well in particular though.

Great thanks, that is what we have pretty much found as well.
We especially have had our best luck with chartreuse anything this year.
