Went to Lake Powell to get some fishing in. Started out looking for those striper schools that I usually hook into this time of year, but seemed a little harder to catch with my traditional techniques (jigs or jig heads tipped with a piece of anchovie)
Luckily Waynes fishing reports gave me another idea that worked! Fired up the main boat motor and did a quick troll with the fly rod. Hooked into stripers and tons of smallmouth. Hooked into a lot of kitties with my spinning rod as well.
All in all was a great trip. Fishing Lake Powell is never a disappointment.
