78 at Soldier Creek.

Went up to soldier creek to try and get into all the kokes my father in law did on Friday (9 boated/6 more lost at the boat), but found Rainbows instead. My brother, me wife and myself split 78 evenly. 26 fish a piece. 2 kokes was it, 1 okay size Cutt and 75 (10-12 inch) Rainbows. 1 decent bow at the end, 2.5 lbs or so. Lots of fish caught, just not what I wanted. Frustrating, using the same stuff as the F.i.L, but not as much luck.. His Old Man instincts trumped our Extra poles I suppose.
Lots of fun, weather was perfect, overcast almost all day. Windy at times but not bad enough to blow us off the lake.
Another brother and step dad followed us in a separate boat and caught 4 more between them, 2 Kokes was all for them as well. So a little over 100 between our 2 boats.
Next time we shall find them Kokes and bring home a couple limits (fingers crossed) !!!!

bummer on the kokanee numbers but at least you got a few, and man when the bows are biting it's tough to get you stuff down great report.

Were you fishing where the stocking truck dropped their planter bows, lol. Holy cow that is a lot of bows, sounds like you had them dialed in. I was looking at your net in the one pic, where did you buy it? I've been looking for one like that.

I have the same net...picked mine up at Scheels last Spring....love it.. They are rather pricy... If Scheels doesn't still carry them you can try Kokanee Tackle...

The net we got at Cabelas, the brand is EGO S2 SLIDER, and it is one of the best nets I have tried. 78 fish and not a single book got stuck.
I wanted to try for Kokes but the rest of my family were having too much fun with the baby bows 😭

Thanks for the info on the nets guys. Just went by Sportsmans and the longer size of those nets are $99 there[shocked].

I've owned 2 of those ego nets and if u want to replace ur net every 2 years buy the ego. I won't buy another one.
