Jordanelle survey results
#1
We just posted the results of the Jordanelle Reservoir survey: http://wildlife.utah.gov/pdf/jordanelle_...s_2015.pdf

There was certainly a lot of interest and feedback — thank you to everyone who participated!

Frequent reply was the same angler wants more and bigger fish to catch. Interesting that they don't realize you get one or the other, but tough to provide both simultaneously.

You have to admit that it does make for some interesting reading. Jordanelle seems to be the fishing equivalent of politics or Ford/Chevy/Dodge. Everybody seems to have an opinion and most are different from each other. I don't envy the DWR in trying to manage Jordanelle with such a diversity of opinion.

Another fun activity is to guess which forum members were most likely to write a given response on the survey. Gave me a chuckle or two as I was ending a long workday. [laugh]

[#0000FF]I looked and I looked but didn't see the one I was looking for: "Plant big smallmouths and lots of small chubs. And make a slot limit of only 8" or smaller on smallmouth."

I do think I found the one you are referring to. It had the gist of what you said but was obscured by a large redacted section. I suppose the rant that day was extra "colorful".
