Johnsons Reservoir

We fished Johnsons July 1st. Only caught tiny perch dragging a pole around off the side of the boat. Threw top water for musky, not even a follow. Never caught a trout, only tiny perch. Anyone have any luck at Johnsons? What worked for you?
