Little Cottonwood Creek had treated me so well during the week that I decided to take my 7 year old cousin out for a bit to see if I couldn't get him hooked on fishing.
We went to a hole and after helping him for a few times, he was casting, reeling, and catching all by himself. He had the time of his life pulling in fish after fish (had at least a bite on every cast it seemed)
I cant wait until my kid is old enough to start taking him. It is a whole different feel watching a little kid and the joy on his face as he catches fish "all by himself".
As a plus, I found my knife that i had lost earlier in the week while cleaning my fish.
