Thanks for the report and pictures. Nice fish!

I"m glad to hear that the DWR is checking on folks.

It's too bad that so many people don't like to follow the rules when they catch some large fish.

Way to go on the kokes! That one is really red. Those are interesting squid colors. I'm glad they're catching a few of the "poachers", I've seen them cleaning the slot cutts at the station before.

Looks like you had two big kokes with no red in them
the last two times I have been up all the kokes were red with the hoke jaw.

some people don't know what a bow looks like.

Looking at the pics, he put at least 4 in the boat. I guess it all comes down to location. We were up there the same day but not in that area, we only got one[Sad].

Yeah, can't tell you how many 22" cuts I've seen at the cleaning station that look an awfully lot like the 20" fish I throw back regularly.

Maybe they shrink in the cooler?

Forgive my ignorance, but do the kokes die after spawning? I can't imagine they return to their previous state. New to kokanee fishing and seeing them turn has peaked my interest.

Ya, look at the pics! 4 kokanee for a day of fishing is a slow day in my book. If you only caught one that tells volumes of how great a fisherman you are.

Folks who measure fishing greatness by how many fish were caught on a single trip simply show there lack of fishing experience.

You have no clue dude, as Dog Lover said, I never measure my success by how many fish I catch. If we all followed your logic then there are a lot of unhappy fishermen out there. No one goes out every time and slays the fish but I would never make a statement saying how good a fisherman you are or anyone else is, solely on one fishing trip. If you can go to the Berry or any lake and catch one limit or more on every trip, I'd consider that a great outing.

I agree. Knowing how hard the Kokanee have been the last month, 4 is a great day and 1 is not bad. Even with less than those results, Strawberry is still my favorite place and kokanee my favorite fish to pursue.
