Bountiful Pond Report

A friend of mine and I hit the ice on Bountiful Pond 2 nights ago. We saw more cops than fish. Twice we were asked what the heck we were doing by the Bountiful P.D. I guess they couldn't see our fishing gear, or maybe the doughnuts went to their brains. We fished for only about 45 min., and it was just too much to handle. We forgot to bring a lantern, or even a flashlight. We tried to build a fire, but it was hopeless. The darkness and the cold just got to us, so I don't think this is a fair/accurate report. If anyone wants to try it during daylight hours, let me know. []

thats a weird reaction from the cops. they should know a fishing pond is right there. wonder why they acted that way.

Earlier in the year there was a problem with people trying to duck hunt the pond. They have been checking for that a lot, especially when they are out there using their shooting range.

aww that would explain alot of it though its hard to duck hunt on hardwater haha.

It would not be hard to hunt ducks on hard water. They are just a little more stationary so that I could, at least, hit them.[]
