Wifey's First Wiper
#1
Well, decided to take the wife and kiddo out today for a little wake boarding out at Willard. Got done around 7, Kari wanted to try to catch a wiper after I said you'll never catch a wiper right now, it's to murky. Low and behold she hooked one. Lil guy, but count it for her first wiper! Good job baby!

I didn't want to say the word but did you see any boils. Smile It just gets crazy if you say that word out loud, You can PM me if you want to let me know that way.

If you haven't seen one this is what it looks like.

I'll PM you. I had a couple buddies on a pontoon trolling lines all over the bay yesterday and they ended up with a few kitties. They had the pouty face on in the parking lot. Too funny.

Last time I went out, we saw a lot of terns diving, but no actual boils. We trolled through the diving birds and marked a lot of big fish and what looked like shad balls, but not much luck on the lures. The one 22" wiper we did catch had a totally empty belly. But that was a couple weeks ago, I hope they start eating again soon!
