Welcome to Small Lake City! I can't give advice on trolling as I'm not set up to troll on my boat but when you get it figured out I'm great at netting fish [Wink]

-Trolling will be better with downriggers, but you can use bead sinkers or lead-core line with good results.

-I pull straight Rapalas or sometimes pair with a dodger ahead of them. Squid tipped with bait will also work well for multiple species.

Took me a few years of trial & error to figure out Strawberry. Good luck!

I have always done good trolling white jointed rapalas. bigger lures catch bigger fish. I haven't been able to find any in stores so i have to buy them and paint them white. Using downriggers in 30 fow down 20-25 feet. Had really good luck about 3 weeks ago out in front of renegade for 16-20 inch rainbows.
