Another good night at Daybreak

Me and my friend John hit the lake a little after 8 pm, my first 3 cast put 2 fat cats in the cooler.
We ended up with 8 in the cooler and 3 small ones went back, two of those where mudders.
John got the big boy at 24 inches with the rest at 16 to 20.
obviously they didn't separate the mud cats from the channels when they stocked the lake.
Every now and then we catch a large mouth on bait but not tonight.

I remember catching cat fish with power bait when they first opened that place xD Their so big now.

DWR has not stocked this lake in many years, they consider it as a private lake, Rio Tinto has kept it open to the public.
That could change soon if So Jordan takes it over as was the plan.
