What you need to know about Strawberry
#1
I was at Strawberry Tuesday and Wednesday using for the first time my Underwater Video SeaViewer camera.

First thing I wanted to add more fish and cut some things out but I need to learn how to edit.
But this is my first saved clip, and these fish are all over the place.

I had the camera down (I think) 15 and 20 feet here. Did not have it on a downrigger. (need to make a mount)
put the camera over the right side of the boat, going 1.4 to 2 MPH.
When the camera was down 30' I did not see many fish maybe because the water is so dirty
Tuesday we got 11 and Wednesday we got 15 one was a silver 15” koke. so it is still slow.
Most were got at 30 and 35' down. Most of the cuts we got Wednesday were 19 to 22” and fun to catch.
let me know what you think.

Thanks for the footage Roger. Unfortunately those fish are exactly what I didn't want to see down there. So here's a question for everyone, what's your most deadly chub lure?!

That is really cool stuff(the video not the chubs)! Thanks! I saw a huge school like that on my graph on Saturday in the middle between the island and chicken creek. I thought they were staging Kokes but looks like they were chubs....

Last fall we saw a huge school of fish just outside of the boat ramp at The Strawberry Marina. I was puzzled why we weren't getting hits on our tube jigs. One of the guys I was fishing with dropped down a Kastmaster and starting jigging it. He snagged several chubs. Interestingly, he also hooked, in the mouth, a few cutthroats, so they will school together.

The top line is the Camera so I would think the cuts are under the chubs

Its been my experience that Cloud like clusters of fish on the Graph at Strawberry have usually proven to be Chubs. When encountered I have dropped a 1/16 ounce jig with a tidbit of worm and caught them fast and furious.
Witnessed it a lot before the removal.
