Huntington report 10/9
#1
So I had a few hours to kill yesterday and fished Huntington (also called mammoth by some). I was using either a small black marabou jig or a size 10 prince nymph, as I had the good fortune to be right in the middle of a hatch. I had numerous strikes, and caught some nice tigers. I was only there for two hours, but the action seemed pretty consistent. I was in a float tube on the highway side of the lake.

Sounds like a good way to kill a few hours and get some tugs. You didn't mention the water level and I am curious
to know if that little ramp is still useable?
Also if you went up from the Price side did you happen to notice the water level in Cleveland?
Wife is bugging me to smoke up some trout and that is all the reason I need to keep a few.

Water level at Mammoth is just below the end of the boat ramp (59% full)

Cleveland is 30% full. It's as low as I've seen it in the last few years.

Good luck getting some smokers[Wink].

Thanks gofish,
No tube here so sounds like the shore for me if I wander up there. At that water level sounds like my little boat is out of the picture

Oh well thanks

Just a heads, up the shallow areas were very mossy, and took a while to get out where it was deep. Whatever you use, make sure it stays off the bottom
