Strawberry Renegade (10-10-15)
#1
Yesterday Kent, Brian, and I headed to Renegade in search of the berrys fall trout fishin.

It wasn't long before Brian scored the 1st fish, leaving him with this fish eating grin.

It might have been cold, but the fishing was starting to heat up.

This cutthroat trout greeted me with some lip stick.

Batten down the hatches, kent pushing his boat to his favorite type of trolling speed.

It was a good move as Brian caught the fish of the day at 21 inches.

Great pics! Just wondering if you are now trying to kiss the fish as well as catch them?[Tongue]

It was a fun day. Just wish the amateur fishing guide would have done a better job finding the fish.

Well the offer was politely declined by me.[Wink] She was released unharmed.[Smile]

Kent and Troy, thanks for making it a great day of fall fishing. I guess 5:00 am is a little earlier then Troy usually gets up to go fishing.

I wish I had of got a picture of him laying on the stern deck, rod in the holder, and the line wrapped around his finger. It must work, because I know he caught at least a couple while using this technique.

Here are a few more pictures. I tried to post them inline but that didn't work. Sorry you will have to open them one at a time.

That is my kind of fishing in the dark.
which is best trolling or jigging?
I may need to get Kent to take me out to see what jigging is like with my Camera
I'm going up in the morning, (Wed.) alone my wife just backed out.

I had been up for 24 hours till I had to set the rod down and take a few power naps. My neck still has a kink in it for that one. [crazy]

For some reason though the line wrapped on the finger while slumbering seems to work out pretty well for me both ice fishing and on a boat.

Sounds like a plan. I would also enjoy learning from the master troller.

I was going to go up alone this morning myself and then decided to wait until Thursday morning and take my grandson. I always put in at Renegade maybe I'll run into you some time. I'm in a Basstracker Panfish with BFT decals on the motor.

Nice job guys. Just Cutts, or did the Bows come out to play as well? Anything working better than others? Heading up Friday.

We caught one Bow each. The Cutt's were mostly caught on tube jigs tipped with shrimp, minnows, or a worm.
