I have been to strawberry a couple of times and when I have gone I have usually gone for cutthroat and rainbows. However, I know there are kokanee salmon in strawberry and was looking for any advice on how to catch the kokanee? I am going up to strawberry Saturday and would like to try for them. Is it the wrong time of year to go or can you get them now? Any tips and advice would be great, thanks!

im not sure how active (if at all) the non spawners are right now,
but seams like the most effective ways of catching kokes (atleast for me) is running 5" RMT dodges, paired with there squids, usually pink or orange color ran about 8" behind the dodger.
I troll 1.3-1.5 MPH but sometimes you have to go faster/slower to trigger a bite

You can still catch kokanee at the berry but it will be pretty tough. I caught one on accident on Tuesday trolling in indian creek bay but it was only about 13 inches and still completely silver. Probably not mature enough to spawn so was still out in the bay. I would run some rocky mountain tackle assassin spinners or macks wedding rings or kokanee killers tipped with a gulp maggot. You need to run your lures about 15-20 feet down so I hope you have downriggers. You'll catch mostly rainbows or cutts but you may get lucky and land a kokanee. Best of luck!
