I forgot to mention that I didn't get to try the new rod mount as I only had a few hours to fish before needing to get back to SLC. Gotta get a trailer for my pontoon so i can just launch and not spend so much time setting up my craft on the beach.
What I did get to try was that stuffed trout recipe. WOW and thank you is all I can say!! We skipped on the mushrooms (as I am allergic to them) and stuffed it with white rice, uncooked shrimp, onions, green onions, garlic, bell peppers, lemons and dill. The left over uncooked stuffing held on to the seasoning really well too and was just as pleasurable as the cooked stuffing that quickly ran out. Evil TDT, Sondra, and I have to tip our hats to you for providing that one, and in record time too.

By the way. Nice pics. The fish are purty, the goats are cute and so is the lady. You do good work.

Yeah she is quite the catch. I took her fly fishing for her 1st time a few weeks ago to a place that I thought was my ace in the hole. She got the basics extremely quickly but the fish weren't cooperative for her. I nailed a nice 24 inch tiger though, on a dry fly no less... just so she could see how its done of course

I couldn't convince her to go carp chasin on the fly with me though..she wants nothing to do with those smelly creatures.
