I was planning to go up and fish Cleveland and Miller Flat Reservoirs today but the weather made me stay a little closer to home.
I didn't get over to HN until 11:30 and fished until it started to rain again, about 2:30. I fished from my kick boat using a medium sinking line (#3) and a size 6-8 bead head crystal bugger in brown/green/pearl and a soft hackle fly in the same color. I picked up a couple of small bass (6" - 12"), two wipers (18" - 19"), and a few rainbows that run between 12" and 15" long. The water temperature was 60 degrees and the visibility about 5'. The reservoir level is at 47% full and still dropping. The fishing was pretty slow but the best part was I never hooked any chubs.[
