Bountiful Pond Report 10/31/2015
#1
Decided to fish a couple hours the morning of Halloween.

I never have luck at Bountiful pond, the fish just dont like me. I got a few bites but ended up getting skunked, my brother caught 2 Rainbow, my sister in law caught 1 Rainbow.

We fished from 8am to 11am. They were biting on red worms, and my brother caught one on a spoon.

Anyone have tips for Bountiful pond? Ive tried worms, jigs, spoons, spinners, and always get skunked. I often get bites, but the fish never really commit, and just end up nibbling.

Anywho, a nice day to be outside anyway.

Most likely short strikes. Also depends upon the part of the lake you are fishing.

I fish BP 8 days a week. Skunked 90% of the time, but I rarely bait fish. Best luck w/gold spinners. Always have good luck in the winter normal trout jigs. Fishing around the parking lot provides best results for me. I recommend staying away from the Docs.

I've kicked around targeting Cats in the winter, but still need a game plan.

Good luck!

I usually go out and float it when I do hit it.
