Hey
I am going to try Jordanelle this Friday for the first time in many years and was wondering which area would be best. I have a canoe that can be launched without a ramp and was thinking rock cliff.

If rock cliff is ice free, that would be a good spot. Otherwise try the PWC ramp at hailstone.

just be careful driving out to the water at rock cliff. With the water being so low you will need to follow a muddy road out to where you can put your canoe in. Many have gotten stuck out there. But if you don't drive it the walk is considerable especially if you are carrying a canoe. Good luck though. That is the area I was in with my canoe and the fishing was great!

We went to Jordanelle yesterday and there was ice blocking us from getting in at Rock Cliff. Dang it. The fishing was good there the week before.
We decided to fish Deer Creek across from the marina. We did okay. I caught 8 in a couple of hours but missed at least 10 on flies and power bait.
