Hey Everyone,
I'm planning a trip this year with some friends, we plan on taking the trailers and staying in the mountain view campground because it has power. The state site says that it is open year round. The cabins seem to be the only thing you can rent online, it don't let you reserve a camp site.
Any way maybe they don't have a camp host to mark reserved spots during the winter, maybe just pull in and pay.
When I get a chance to call the park I usually get a recording.
Any info would be great. Oh, and what about 4 wheelers? How does the park feel about wheelers in the park and on the ice?
Any info is great, thanks again everyone.

I am interested, are you sure about the power in the mountain view campground ? Before you set a date check ice conditions, and fishing reports. I'll be watching for your plans .

Thanks WH2 for the links and the info.
I have stayed at Indian Bay once and Mountain View 2 times this spring and summer. I'm sure they don't kill the power for the winter. I'm sure the water will be off but I'm not going to dewinterize my trailer. They have nice toilet and shower facilities. I'll try contact with them through their facebook. We are shooting for the end of January. I Used to fish Scofield a lot, but it really is gone down hill. I'll try to let ya know 5000.
