Headed out in the morning. Can't decide between Scofield or Huntington. What's your opinion?
Also, got a new sled I need to put to the test. Anybody know if there's much snow if any near either of those? Thanks!

Last weekend soldier summit had about 2-3 inches of snow. Most likely has changed since then. I will know in about 5 hours when I go over it again.

Hunting is iced over if that helps.

My experience has been that Huntington freezes up a little quicker than Scofield. If Scofield has ice in the dam arm, then it is a pretty safe bet Huntington is frozen. If the weather remains cold, Mud Creek at Strawberry should have about 2 or so inches by next weekend along with the bay next to the highway at Soldier Creek. Changes are pretty good that current creek will have a couple of inches also.

Last I heard was the Huntington had 3 inches of ice with no snow on the ice and Scofield had 3-5 inches in the dam arm and 2-3 inches throughout the reservoir.
I am going to be making a trip down to Huntington on Tuesday. If you end up going, I would appreciate it if you could post/PM me on the ice conditions.
Thanks.

Went through soldier summit this morning. No difference in amount of snow. Dismal to say the least.
