has any one put a boat in the water at Lucerne?
can you get down the ramp without chains just 4X4?
are the lakers bitting, we will be trolling not snagging.

You'll have no problem getting down the ramp. Getting up is the tough part. []

Sorry, haven't been there. There was about three inches snow on the buckboard ramp saturday. The pups were sure willing to bite anything pulled through the water.

Yes, some of us definitely have issues. I was out there Sat night, pitch black, in freezing fog, can't see the shore 50 ft away, single digit temps, and ice forming on the rod so fast I had to clear it every cast. No pics to prove it, but I do have the frostbite on a couple finger tips as evidence.

Looks like someone launched at Lucerne today, but a pretty small boat from the looks of the trailer.
