First ice trip of the year

Finally found some ice and got a pole in the water. Iced 8 blue gills in about an hour and a half. The bite was light but any movement helped. The ice was 2 to 3 inches thick in most spots.

That's awesome!! I have been dreaming of ice fishing lately. The view in my head is the same as your pic.
