Last report for a while. Went 8 to 10 am. East side BL. South wind to start in the morning, but I can handle a south wind from shore, no rollers directly at you. Caught 4 white fish first 4 casts. First was a gravid female. All others appeared to be males to me with at least 1/2 being smaller males. After an hour, wind started from West with 1 foot rollers, then shifted to NorthWest. Not terrible, but not calm. Ended up with 16, all released to do their thing. No macs and no cutts today. Wanted to give props to a Thunderjet boat from Idaho. I was by myself fishing and they pulled quite a bit to the North of me. I was catching pretty steady and they moved South of me. However, they went at least 100 yds out and around me to get where they were going and used their electric to get there. No disturbance and no crowding. I was impressed and thankful. I have had boaters come within casting distance of me on a 20 mile long lake and start fishing. Oh boy!
No fish pics today, but a couple scenery pics. Beautiful up here.

Hi Shane, I am still boatless. These reports are all from wading out from shore in neoprenes. Suprisingly comfortable even as cold as Bear Lake is during winter. If you ever want to get after them, let me know.

A.T.: I am off next week so planning on heading back up probably Wed if the weather looks as though it will cooperate. I have done really well some years between Dec 17 and 22.
