I am headed over in the morning I have heard mixed reviews I figure with this cold streak should be some ice.

Well I just checked with the state park and they said that it had opened up quite a bit and the what ice they have the edges are soft so I am going to try some where else

I spent Saturday night and Sunday morning at Tamarisk point, 2 ice tent at the dam, maybe 1" on the rest of the lake, and open in front of Tamarisk. Fish are healthy, hungry, and fat! Limited out 3 people Saturday night in 2 hours.

After I ran in to a buddie who was duck hunting at otter yesterday I decided to go out. I was the lone tent on the ice today. The ice was in between 4 and 5 inches. the edges were pretty good depending on where you went. Still open water on the lake. Fishing was pretty slow but we did catch a few typical otter creek fish.

Good safe ice by the dam

Caught alot of small fish 10" size

There are big fish there i landed a few around 20" that barely went through a 6" hole
