Big Bows

Avoided the storm yesterday and headed north into SE Idaho with my son to catch some big rainbows. It doesn't happen much but he did catch the three largest of the 12 we caught and out fished me. Fish fry is coming.

Our wife's thought we were crazy going out during the storm. Last year Huntington for big Tigers during the first storm of the year. This year larger bows 16-23 inches.

Nice looking bows you caught. Come January 1st I believe I will be purchasing an annual fishing license for Idaho. Purchased one several years ago, but then they substantially raised their license fees. I hope to take advantage of some of the great fishing just across the border more going forward.
