Picked up a new flasher yesterday at Cabelas (that place is evil). Driving up to Lost Creek for a few hours this afternoon. If fishing is slow, I'll comeback over Trappers and check out the ice on Pineview. Post the status this evening.

You're gonna need a lot more than that new flasher in order to catch a fish....

Got tied up and won't make it to LC today. Stil hoping to at least drive up the canyon and look at PV's ice this afternoon.

Tom, does a ten year break make you rusty? Probably so, but in three more months I'll have plenty of time to practice.

I just drove up and checked PV. Ice is forming in the back bays, but nothing in the narrows or the main lake. Had to get north of the yacht club to see ice. Winds blowing pretty good so what's there might not last. Sorry, never did make it to Lost Creek. If anyone has a report, I'd like to see it.

Hummingbird ICE-45. From my research, it looked like the best bang for the buck. Had to convince myself not to go with a Marcum.

I couldn't justify spending the extra $$ for a Marcum or vexlar.
