How fast does ice thicken with the current
Temps (15 high/ 5 low) we are experiencing? This is assuming the lake is capped with 1" of good clear ice. I know there are other factors (springs, etc) ..I also know there are guides online just looking for personal testimonials

Last couple years we have seen about 1" of ice per day under these temps provided there aren't any insulating affects. So in about 2 more days I'll start to get nervous. Three days it should start to be safe and next Friday it will be tent city. Just my prediction. J

High winds can destroy the fresh ice cap. If ideal conditions continue then I wouldn't be surprised to see .5-1 inch of ice a day
