Brand new Marcum troller won't turn on please help!!!

So I finally got my marcum troller in the mail and it won't turn on. I ppress the power button it beeps and as soon as I release the button it turns off. If I hold the button it goes into simulation mode and stays on but not for normal power up. Anyone have any insight or suggestions???

Most likely insufficient power. Check your batteries.

Depends on what ur using.. If the double aa's throw some fresh brand new ones in, if ur using the 12 volt, double check ur connections and make sure it is charged.. If not the issue, get a hold of Marcum..
