Took family and friends today, 8 of us all together. We had 6" of good ice and fished from 11 am to 3:30. White Bass action was slow with only 1 caught in the group. Most of us caught 3 to 5 Crappie 2' below the ice. 2 in our group got skunked. We had to work for them with small hand tied jigs- Chartreuse or white with wax worms. Chanel is a shallow 4' deep.
