A week of fishing
#1
I took the week off from Christmas to New Years day.... trying to dedicate as much time as I could to fishing I got out for 2 full days of fishing and 3 half days. It was a much needed break! The perch sure were active at Hyrum Dam and I bumped into a few pigs in southern Idaho.

Here's a link to some video's of the perch action at Hyrum. They were active little guys, racing up for the jig. Lots of fun.

Sounds like a great week to me. Nice pics thanks for sharing them. What did you catch the bass on may I ask? Don't see too many bass coming through the ice like that. Nice job!

I was actually just fishing for perch. Using a pug bug with a mustache worm plastic, then tipped with a wax worm. I caught three in two days and the one person I went with caught one as well. It was a pretty good surprise.

Exciting video :-). It's really difficult to not get excited landing fish like that while the film is rolling. I'm sure you were holding your enthusiasm for the sake of the viewers.

Maybe, just maybe if those fish were just a little bigger 10-12" you might have heard me shout a little more. Haha, I realize it's a boring video but I just love watching those fish come up on a flasher and see how active they are.
