Hyrum/Rockport Fees?

Can't remember I'm just wondering if you have to pay fees at Hiram or Rockport if you're just parked off the State Roads or only if you go through the gates?

I've only had to pay if you go in the gate at Hyrum. We normally parked on the road near the dam.

Hyrum, Willard, and Rockport all charge access fees year round.

Yup even winter, they probably make more from ice fishing than summer boating. I think they do reduce the price from summer time rates, but I got the yearly pass so I'm not sure what the daily fee is these days. Later J

I'm pretty sure it's more than $3 to get into Rockport state park, now if you are talking about parking by the road, where those Vault toilets are thats $3.

Hyrum State Park access is now $8. Unsurprisingly, they raised the fees.

You'd think it's a great fishery or something.

That's what I was wondering wiper / hunter. I thought I remembered some like that. So do they have bases to pay in by the access points? I assume a season state park pass in the windshield would suffice as well

Yes, state parks passes will work at those location and yes, they have envelopes and pay boxes at those locations.
