Yuba Report.. and bad ice

just got back from a not so good day on yuba.. went into the Narrows.. when we got there seen where a snowmobil had gone to the other side. would not try that again any time soon.. there was 5 feet of open water to get on the ice... and then the ice is at best 4 inchs and very soft right now... we got on and fished for 5 hours not a thing hit and seen very little on the finder... from 25 fow to 10 fow..

getting off the ice sucked and i had to get a bit wet getting off.. the water is goning up fast and it must be warmer water. the ice was 6 inchs 2 weeks ago now at best it's 4 and spooky... be very carfull if ya go out...

Thanks for the report. Bummer on the slow day. Sounds like these warm temps are wreaking havoc on the ice.
