Anybody know how far out on the bag is safe? Was there Monday and it seems pretty good. Just wondering how far out you can go, and if at snow machines have been plying across it.

Usually it is plenty safe to shoot your bag limit of whatever you are hunting, but if you shoot all the animals and don't let your friend shoot any it could be un-safe. I can't tell if the snowmobiles have been plying or just sliding on the snow. Hope this helps. [cool]

I was there sunday and the ice was safe , but is definitely thinner in the middle it was 8 to 10 inches closer to shore and in the bays , about 4 inches out in the main lake. there is very little snow on the ice , and I saw people fishing out pretty far to the middle. so you should be fine from here on. good luck[
