Deer Creek

Seen a few tents on Deer Creek last week. How is the ice holding up and how is the fishing? Thinking of going tomorrow with my 3 year old. don't want to drag him too far from home.

3" of ice with 1" of water on top. It's slushy and sketchy. The fishing is slow for trout and perch. I was able to go out yesterday and today during my lunch break. And I caught 1 slimmer yesterday and nothin today. I was marking trout coming in at 20-30' in 48' fow. Hope this helps.
