I've never fished Currant Creek through the ice, but would like to give it a shot. I have not seen any reports or info on it.....Does anyone have any info? Ice/access/etc.?
I do have a Snowmobile and can get in.
Thanks

The road is easily passable with 4wd. I was up there last weekend and got skunked. I've fished there with decent success in the past so I think the fish just weren't biting. That place can also be about finding the fish. They will congregate in certain areas and when you find them it can be good. I have had good fishing in as little as 6 feet of water there so don't be afraid to try different things until you figure it out. The coming storm might screw up fishing for the weekend but you never know. The ice is plenty think (8"). Let us know how you do.

We use to ice fish it a lot a few years ago. We fished down by the dam using rat finkee's and small glow white tube jigs tipped with a meal worm. We caught decent sized rainbows and tiger trout. Good luck.
