So, the plan was to take Friday off work and fish Bear Lake for two days. A little mid winter vacation for my son and I. Well we had an epic trip on the ice. Started off Friday morning with limits of cisco and then the fishing started. We caught a lot of fish over the next two days, and decided the heck with the NFL playoffs and stayed a third day. We never officially counted, but caught somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 fish in those three days. Here are a few pictures of some of the better ones. BTW - all but a couple of small hatchery cuts went back down the hole [cool]

Awesome post, thanks for sharing. Those are some great fish, glad to hear that they are all still swimming. We had great luck with the cisco on Friday, not so much Saturday. Still trying to figure out the game out on the ice for the big boys. Tried a little out towards the crack on cisco beach after netting our limits of cisco, but no love.

Wow Tom that looks like a great weekend... Guess we should have joined you on the other side, I figured wrong... Thought since the trout weren't biting on cisco that they wouldn't be biting anywhere on the lake... Bad thinking on my behalf.. Great set of pictures, thanks for sharing them with us... Later J

Well done Big-T. Did you guys like rent a cabin up there, skip all the driving to and fro?
That's awesome that you can spend such quality time with your kid. I envy you that, and all those beasts. They musta been some fun hookups.
Didya fry up any cisco? No whitefish for the smoker?
Glad Derek was able to lend some luck, or you'd probably just be tasting skunk, eh?
