Fished the three dams today. I caught five smaller browns at the 3rd dam. Using minnow lures. I had never been and didn't realize how filled with sand the dams are. Not very deep. I used a rowboat at the 1st dam and saw quite a few 18 inch trout swimming around but couldn't get any takers on rapalas, gulp minnows or powerbait. Couldn't tell if they were browns or rainbows. Every fish I saw was decent size but no monsters.

I remember fishing the dams as a young boy and they were filled in then with really shallow water. That was in the late 60s and early 70s.
