strawberry??

Ok, I know we are expecting a storm tomorrow, but this is the one weekend i have available. I'm hitting strawberry for the first time in years on the ice. In addition, I'm taking my 8 year old little girl for her first time and really want to make it fun.
I know the slush was reported bad in some spots. Are there areas i can use an atv? Any suggestions on where and how tip make it good for us are appreciated. I know it's best to get away from crowds, but with the storm and slush that may not be an option without a snowmobile.

Just watched the weather report and it's not going to be good for taking little kids out and havein good them enjoy it . Are you sure ? ..???

Just got back and the slush was kinda bad where we was at try and take something for the kids to stand on. The fishing was very good for us but the flasher made a difference for me.. We found fish in every depth we looked from 9fow to 30fow. Most hugged the bottom but some where suspended.

I understand the desire to take the kids. But tomorrow is not the day in my opinion. I just saw a report of lots of slush which mean atvs are probably done up there until a real cold spell freezes it up again. Roads will be bad and not sure it's worth the risk.
