Heading to fish lake this weekend and was wondering if the tagged fish still qualify for prizes? I heard that you had to register but now its closed. Can anyone provide any info on the tagged fish and if you can still get a prize if you catch one? Any info would be GREATLY appreciated.[fishon]

johnnycake is correct - check in at the Lakeside General Store before you go fishing and you'll be eligible.
Three tagged perch have been caught in the last week, so there are still about 30 prizes left.

Yep, that's the process as I understand it. The same goes I think fit those who registered for the tournament--you still need to check in each time before fishing.
Here's from their website:
1. Be sure to stop by Lakeside Store and register EACH time you come fishing to qualify to win prizes for tagged perch.
2. ANY tagged perch brought to the Lakeside Store during business hours wins, while prizes last. Store hours: Monday - Saturday 8am - 5pm, Sunday 8am - 2pm(ish).
3. Tagged perch brought to the store will have tag removed and fisherman keeps the fish. Tags may be red, white or yellow (see photo)
4. Frozen perch are disqualified.
5. Only perch caught during store business hours qualify. For more info on prizes check out DWR Facebook Post.
Our goal is to utilize tagged fish left over from earlier events while encouraging the harvest of Fish Lake's perch population.
