This fish was caught by my dad (his first ever lake trout) Measured 30" and only about 7lbs. Not a monster.. but to those that know my dad... landing this fish is a pretty big deal!!!!

sorry if this none of my business, but what does a typical fish mount cost? Is it a per inch scale? Is it more for a skin mount vs replica? Always wondered...
beautiful fish btw, Congrats!

Looks like a good job on the fish, I'm sure it will bring back memories for your dad.

yes it is a per inch scale, it's runs around 12 up to 18 bucks a inch and maybe
more for other fish.

It's a beauty! If I ever get a lake trout that size, I'm planning on mounting it too. Of course, my wife says that when I die she's going to have ME mounted and hung on the wall. We'll see if that really happens.
