Huntington North Reservoir
#1
I fished HN today from my tube from noon until 4:00 using, as TD calls it, my fairy wand. The reservoir was still about 1/4 covered with ice but it was going fast. The surface water temperature was already up to 45-47 degrees. I fished in 18' - 30' of water and marked quite a few fish but not many takers. I only had three hits and landed one 15" rainbow. It was slow fishing but great to get back in the Saddle again.[Wink]

Are you the guy who has been fishing every afternoon by the storage shack with the white pickup?
I have been from the bank along the open water quite often. Didn't post up a report because mostly been getting skunked.
Looks like I better get my mussel cert. and drag out the plastic boat before the go fast guys start showing up.
Will be strange but peaceful to fish that pond during weekdays now that I am retired.

Good luck to you.

The guy in the white pickup was there yesterday but I drive a black GMC. I didn't see any of the shore anglers having much luck but then again I didn't have much luck either.
The reservoir is full so that is good to see.

I've attached a crude map of HN for folks who haven't been there.
