Notice how many of the minnows are nailed as they come up alongside the trout? A lot of people will say that a Rapala presentation is best when cast upstream and then retrieved just slightly faster than the current with whatever jigging you prefer. The presentation that I catch the most fish on by a wide margin is casting either straight downstream or about 30 degrees to the opposite bank and then a slow retrieve while feeling for the bottom and raising the rod tip just enough to keep off of it, with occasional twitches. It looks like I'm emulating about 3 out of 4 of the fish eaten in that video.

Love that video, that tide is really moving and flushing those minnows out, gotta love the salt, in fact I just booked 3 weeks in Florida in September [fishon]
